Epiphany includes some unique compatibility with other mods, which this page documents.

Custom Tarnished Characters

Some other mods include Tarnished characters of their own, playable when both the mod itself and Epiphany is enabled. These include:

• Chamuel - The Chamuel mod includes Tarnished Chamuel, the Tarnished version of the titular character unlocked after defeating Dogma as Tainted Chamuel without entering a single Treasure Room. Tarnished Chamuel, like his other variants, is unable to take contact damage, and can collect hearts to gain certain bonuses. By killing enemies, he can also gain Cupids, which, if all are lost, causes him to die.

Golden Beggars

Tarnished Keeper's mechanic of transforming Beggars to gold is not limited to base game Beggars, as Beggars introduced in other mods can also become golden on contact. These include:

• Tainted Treasure Rooms' Tainted Beggars
• The Punished's Red Beggars
• Arachna's Spider Beggars
• Andromeda's Wisp Wizards
• Repentance Plus' Stargazers
• IPECAC Community Mod's Nerd Beggars

Turnover Item Pools

Turnover can create unique shops in the following modded rooms, with them even containing their own Shopkeeper designs

• Fiend Folio: Reheated's Golem Subways
• Andromeda's Abandoned Planetariums
• Tainted Treasure Rooms' Tainted Treasure Rooms
• The Binding of Isaac: Revelations' Prank Shops

Miscellaneous Mod Compatibility

Epiphany has unique compatibility with a few other mods, which are as follows:

• External Item Descriptions - Epiphany includes EID support for the new Items, Trinkets, Pickups, Beggars and Machines it introduces.
• Encyclopedia - Epiphany includes unique entries for each item, trinket, and pick-up it introduces in the Encyclopedia.
• Fiend Folio: Reheated - Fiend Folio: Reheated features more extensive compatibility with Epiphany than most other mods. For a complete list of compatibility between the two mods, see here.
• Map API - The pick-ups, machines and beggars that Epiphany adds have unique icons that appear on the map when Map API is enabled.
