Chests

Chests are a special type of pickup found in the game, often times containing other pickups, trinkets, items and so on.

Epiphany adds 1 new type of Chest to the game.

Dusty Chest

Dusty Chests are a variant of chests, which require a soul heart to open, and may contain:

• (23%) - 1-2 soul hearts with a 50% to get a trinket
• (23%) - 1-3 nickels with a 50% to get a trinket
• (30%) - 1-3 souls or essences with a 50% to get a trinket
• (16%) - An item from the Dusty Chest item pool.
• (8%) - A Haunted Chest or an Old Chest

Dusty Chests are unlocked by defeating Mega Satan as Tarnished Lost.

Unlock Conditions

• Dusty Chest - Defeat Mega Satan as Tarnished Lost

Notes

• The Lost, Tainted Lost and Tarnished Lost can open this type of chest for free.
• Keeper, Tainted Keeper and Tarnished Keeper can open this type of chest for 10 coins instead of a soul heart.
